How To Be Saved
Anyone who does not believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ is already condemned. Because of man‘s wicked and fallen nature, we are desperately in need of the mercy of God. Of course, we do not deserve mercy or salvation. There is nothing we can do that will make us worthy of it. No one can be saved by keeping the Ten Commandments, for the Scripture clearly shows that you have not kept them in the first place.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned”. Romans 5:12.
And
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23.
God has stated that He would judge sin after death.
“The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” Ezekiel 18:20.
But His mercy is ever present and always looking for the man that would consider and accept his offer of salvation and thereby escape the ultimate judgement of death and eternal separation from Him.
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:19.
The heart desire and love of God is to reconcile you to Him and restore to you the dignity, heritage, rights and entitlements due to sons of God.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16.
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his own sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Romans 3:20
God's simple way to be saved is for you to believe in and accept the finished works of Jesus Christ. No Extra work is therefore required on your part.
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” Titus 3:5.
So,
No matter how lost or far away you may be, the Lord is interested in you. He is seeking you even right now.
No matter how dirty or filthy your past, He will wash you and cleanse you with His precious blood.
No matter how wicked you are, even the vilest offender can receive mercy and salvation.
No matter how unrighteous you may think you are, He alone can make you righteous through His Son.
No matter how unjust you may think you are, He is the Justifier of the unjust. He will justify you.
Do not condemn yourself, for Jesus Christ has not condemned you.
He knows how filthy, how far away you are, how hopeless, helpless, unjust and wicked you are, before he chose to die for you.
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17
God loves you so much that He gave the best of Himself just for you. Why? So you can rule and reign with Him forever. What a loving father. Why not accept His love today.
Make this confession from your heart:
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
If you made the confession above, I congratulate you. Please contact us so we can assist you in your walk with the Lord.
